Tuesday blatherings

Quick update to what's going on in Countryland...I got the casting, not the role I went for but luckily the director needed another pregnant woman. The shoot is on Friday or Saturday, it's only a day of filming for me.

Yesterday was spent looking at bathrooms suites and identifiying what we wanted. This morning I have been pricing the bathroom suites via my own sources and strangely enough we have come in way under the plumbing and bathroom specialists.
This is due to me going to trade stores and playing around with interesting things such as taps!! Who would believe a boring tap could be sooooo expensive!...

The Don is working his butt off in Winchester today, they have a strict deadline and have to be finished by Friday lunchtime.... luckily they have a new fangled machine that increases their work output... but they have to keep up with it!

Baby is now 21 weeks, the midwife was very positive about the growth and very strong heartbeat. She gave me loads of information on things such as nappies, teets, birthing balls, buggies.... I have to go to Physio as my hips have been locking and I had problems with walking.

Stretch marks have now appeared big time on my muffin tops and thighs... I have just been reading up and stretch marks actually are a result of hormones and not weight increase! During pregnancy your body produces relaxin which effects collagen and your skin, making it more prone to stretch marks. Unfortunatley nothing can be done, creams reduce the appearance but I will have these nasty little marks for every..... ho hum nevermind all that is important really is a healthy baby at the end.

But, next time I get preggers I will make sure I am size 8/10 and fit and see if there is any difference.

We have the anomaly scan next week, which the Don and I are both looking forward to... the next time we see baby it will be the birth which seems like such a long way away!

On another note, the Don and I have been doing some careful thinking and we will be moving into the property in Lindfield. Horrah. It's so much bigger and better than our flat.

I am so not used to flats, I think I am very anti-social really, I hate hearing people in their flats above us. It annoys me when I hear other peoples music, tv, shouting on the mobile phone etc...
Some people don't mind it but I would be happy to live in a house in the middle of a big field, with neighbours in the far off distance.

Congrats on the role. I'm excited for you! The new house sounds like it will be great. You can always use extra room when having a baby! Good luck on the scan!
