Inspired, Perky & Burpy

London was gray, rainy, with a tube strike. I made it to City and walked my way to Holborn, I was early which was lovely. I knew exactly where I was going as previously I had worked at Warner Bros and stomped around the area in lunch breaks.
The director was very approachable and early 20s, which was also a bonus. Unfortunately a side effect of pregnancy kicked in, probably something to do with the fact that I was getting hungry and had already eaten my snack on the train.... the burbles hit, indigestion... how embarrassing! I had to ask her if she could hear me gurgling (luckily she couldn't) but I had to stuff a galvascon down before it got too unbearable.... I was mortified!!
Anyways the casting was fun, I was myself, as only she knows what she is looking for... no direction whether she wanted feisty, fierce or gentle... so I played it with my truth...
It was a good exercise as now I'm thinking about how I could have done it better.
The train home was another mad moment... I had to run for the train, and puffed and panted for a few minutes after... Then I unwrapped my avocado salad wrap from Pret and drank my venti decaf skinny vanilla latte.... Then I burped!!! (I NEVER BURP!!!???)
I said in a very loud voice "excuse me"... and horrified looked up, the man opposite me took his earphones off, laughed and said "that must have been a very nice sandwich" (in French accent)...
I smiled back and said it was!! How bad was that, he actually heard me through his earphones!!!
I haven't burped again....
I have just created some headshots for my acting portfolio, our Casting Directors here prefer them in black and white (if you're wondering)... what do you think?

I love your headshots! They're gorgeous! And I love the story, too. I like that the man on the train laughed instead of being disgusted!

I needed upto date one as the others were 2 year old :)
And thank goodness the frenchman had a sense of humour ha ha
